Xiao Tan is a creative technologist whose work explores interactive installations, virtual production, and live visual performance. He has collaborated with creative tech studios such as Planet X, Local Projects, and Decaf Raindrop, as well as artists including Shirley Paden, Yann Toma, among others. His projects have been exhibited at GDC’s Alt Ctrl showcase and the Chicago Union Gallery. Guided by a playful and experimental approach, his work invites curiosity and examines how people engage with technology in both physical and digital spaces. He holds an M.P.S. from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and an B.S. from Bentley University.
