A multi-year research project exploring how different knowledge practices from ice core science and glaciology to indigenous traditions, local observations, activism, policy, and law engage with the situated material conditions of ice.It focuses on cryospheric environments in the Canadian Arctic, Svalbard Archipelago, and the Hindu Kush Himalayas and is comprised of a series of documentary films, field research and workshops with scientists, mountain communities, and students, as well as an artist residency.
