The Ars Electronica Festival is one of the most prestigious events in the world related to art, technology, and society. This year, 122,000 visitors attended the festival over the course of 5 days, experiencing hundreds of exhibitions, workshops, performances, and more. You can view the full program here.
A cornerstone of the festival is the Campus Exhibition, which showcases selected works from leading universities and art schools around the world. This year, 38 universities participated, presenting a total of 277 artworks. The jury reviewed all the submissions and nominated the best projects for this year’s awards. IMA received an honorary mention for the work “Weird Creatures,” created in the elective course “Advanced Lab: Synthetic Media.”
