IMA Speaker Series Presents by Marco Sentinelli
A conversation in the intersection of art, beekeeping, ecology, and ethics. In this talk we will explore the symbiotic relationship between humans and honeybees. Key topics will include bee key facts, beekeeping highlights, and the role of honeybees in artistic production. Ethical considerations and practices will be discussed. Through a contemporary case study, Marco will offer practical approaches for artists to experiment with beekeeping and its artistic potential.
Marco has a diverse career across multiple industries and continents. He also has extensive experience teaching and beekeeping. He has been teaching in Italy, Finland, and France courses in UX/UI, Usability and Accessibility, User Centered Design, and Multimedia Publishing. In addition he has extensive research experience collaborating with companies such as Nokia and Ferrari.
