dreamAbout( ) is an interactive installation that brings the intangible nature of dreams to life, illustrating the emotions we often experience in our subconscious: LOVE, FEAR, HAPPINESS, and ANXIETY. By engaging with various elements within the environment, participants trigger dynamic shifts in the dreamscape, transitioning between different emotional states.
Catherine Rong is a sophomore at NYU Shanghai, double majoring in Interactive Media Arts and Psychology. Her work explores the intersection of love, human emotion, memories, and interactive technology. She experiments with image, music, and motion to create immersive experiences that engage both perception and emotion.
