Utilizing technological and scientific research/case studies/artefacts, the class introduces students to the topic of enhanced/extended perception, and how technological augmentation allow us to sense and perceive alternative layers of our surrounding world, reconfiguring our understanding of what reality really is. Students will be asked to develop their own prototypes that demonstrate a conceptual or functional outcome on how perception can be extended, enhanced, or even hacked.
