IMA Summer Institute: Emerging Technologies
The IMA Summer Institute: Emerging Technologies is an interdisciplinary summer program for young people interested in emerging media technologies, while also introducing them to the topics offered at our Interactive Media Arts (IMA) major at NYU Shanghai. Like IMA, the Summer School Program is a playful and collaborative experience designed to inspire students to pursue their own interests, explore the recently possible, design inclusively and drive changes through creativity and technology.
Students will be immersed in the fascinating world of emerging technologies, participating in an engaging hands-on learning experience. The goal of this program is to offer a unique opportunity for teenage students to explore a diverse array of elective crash courses, similar to the ones offered for NYU Shanghai students, covering creative fields such as Machine Learning, Robotics, Creative Coding, Game Design, and New Media. Additionally, students will have the chance to synthesize their knowledge and creativity by completing a final project that showcases their skills and passions.
新兴技术酷夏营
新兴技术酷夏营是一个跨学科暑期项目，专为对新兴媒体技术感兴趣的青年学子打造，同时向学员们介绍上海纽约大学交互媒体艺术（IMA）专业的相关课题。与交互媒体艺术专业一脉相承，新兴技术酷夏营注重趣味共创，激发学员追随兴趣探索前沿科技可能，通过包容性设计及创意技术实践推动社会变革。
学生将沉浸于新兴技术的迷人世界，参与引人入胜的实践学习体验。本项目旨为青少年学生提供多元化速成课程选修的独特机遇，探索涵盖机器学习、机器人技术、创意编程、游戏设计、新媒体 等创意领域——其设置模式与上海纽约大学课程体系相仿。此外，学生将通过完成最终项目而综合运用所学知识与创造力，充分展现自身的技能与热忱。
