With a BFA in Design Media Arts from UCLA and an MFA in Digital + Media from RISD, Zeyu has built a multifaceted career spanning motion design roles at Reddit and Notion, while pioneering independent VR animation with Quill after hours.
His work has been featured in SIGGRAPH, Engadget, and 3D Artists, and his Bilibili channel, Rofix, has attracted over 220,000 followers. In this talk, Zeyu will share how to navigate creative careers in tough markets, balance full-time roles with personal art, and explore multiple paths without trade-offs.
He’ll offer insights from both animation studios and brand/marketing teams, and share his view on the future of animation in the age of AI and Web3.
