This talk will be delivered by Dr. Zhang Daming, a pioneering XR content creator and research artist with a background in stage design from the Central Academy of Drama. Dr. Zhang will share insights on the creative process and visual ideation in VR art, exploring how immersive media transforms narrative and performance arts.
XR creator and research-based artist. Daming holds a doctorate degree in Scenography from the Central Academy of Drama in China. With a unique perspective rooted in theatre, she delves into the realm of XR (AR/VR/MR). Her debut VR dance film, "Or Bit" (2019), garnered international acclaim and was celebrated at numerous festivals and exhibtions. Currently, Daming is the Lecturer at the School of Art and Communication at China Jiliang University.
