Katy Wang, a sophomore IMA student, will be presenting her work Somatic Awareness, a project developed from one of the IMA core courses Creative Coding Lab, in the IMA Gallery N306.
Katy begins her journey of exploring the intersection of humanity, technology, and the future through interactive media. With a deep interest in the relationship between audio and visual elements, Katy seeks to understand how digital experiences can evoke emotion and expression in new ways. This project marks her first exploration into web design, offering a speculative look at how technology may evolve beyond the human perspective.
