This is an interactive installation set in the background of 2080, where an AI company customizes perfect child robot that meets all customers' preferences. Customers can customize their own DreamyBot by visiting the company website. This project satirically explores a future which AI technology can be apply to human beings.
Ruiqi Liu was born in Tokyo in 2004, then she grows up in Qingdao, Shandong. She is presently a sophomore studying at New York University Shanghai, where she is pursuing a major in Interactive Media Arts (IMA). Ruiqi has a keen interest in crafting interactive narratives through creative coding. Drawing inspiration from her personal observations on nature and family life, she creates storytelling works that artfully blend thought-provoking themes with a light-hearted tone.
