Presenter Info: Iannis Bardakos, an artist and art theorist with over three decades of experience, has worked globally as an educator and creative media expert. He has taught in Greece, Spain, France, and China, and his work has been exhibited internationally. His interdisciplinary approach blends mathematics, philosophy, and the arts, transcending traditional boundaries. Bardakos’s expertise extends to digital media, humanities, and cybernetics, with a deep interest in the philosophy of technology. His research and teaching explore the dynamic interplay between technicity, aesthetics, and processes through a techno-mathematical lens. He holds dual doctoral degrees: one in Aesthetics, Sciences, and Technologies of the Arts from Paris 8 University, and another in the Theory and History of Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts. Bardakos contributes as a co-editor to the Technoetic Arts Journal and is an active member-at-large in the American Society for Cybernetics. His work, positioned within a post-human framework, aims to redefine and reformulate the relationship between art and experience.
