This project explores the contradicted simultaneity of ephemerality and permanence, digital and analog, hold on and let go shown in the features of postmodern death, discussing the real essence of digital remains. The artists utilizes the combination of screen and sand to create a visualization of digital death and re-remembering.

Abstract
In the artist’s contemplation of digital mortality, she delves into the intriguing concept of what remains after one's physical presence ceases to exist – a question as elusive as the intangible codes that define our digital footprints. Within this virtual realm, the remnants of the departed take on a multifaceted nature: they are at once a mere amalgamation of binary data and a reflection sculpted by the memories and interactions of those who remain. This dual identity, shaped by the online movements of mourning, underscores a profound shift in how we engage with the departed, as individuals weave a tapestry of remembrance through the fabric of cyberspace. Inspired by this evolving landscape of digital remembrance, the artist turns her gaze inward, contemplating her own digital legacy. Through her art, she seeks to unravel the intricacies of existence in the digital age, using herself as the protagonist in a narrative that explores the gradual dissolution of identity in the relentless march of time. In her video installation, the artist's portrait becomes a focal point, its gaze drawing viewers into an intimate exchange that transcends the boundaries of space and time. As spectators engage with the artwork, a subtle transformation unfolds: should they depart, the artist's image gradually disintegrates, each grain of sand symbolizing a fragment of memory slipping away into the void. Yet, beneath this ephemeral spectacle lies a deeper truth – the very substance of the sand, silicon, serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring legacy of technology, which permeates every aspect of our lives. Through this evocative imagery, the artist captures the essence of the human condition – a delicate interplay between presence and absence, between the tangible and the ephemeral. In the dance of memory and forgetting, she invites viewers to contemplate their own place within the ever-expanding landscape of digital existence, where the boundaries between the real and the virtual blur into obscurity.
