This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the art of paper-cutting as both a traditional folk practice and a contemporary creative medium. Participants will learn fundamental folding and cutting techniques using specialty papers and scissors, and explore PAPERCUTTING.art, a custom web-based paper-cutting tool developed by the artist. Together, we will create a paper-cut portrait using this tool. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop to experiment with their own designs and express their unique cultural stories.
